Introduction to Essential Oils: Nature’s Medicine Cabinet // @ You Juice // BRIGHTON

25-2.jpeg
download.jpeg

I invite you to join me in the wonderfully nourishing juice bar, You Juice to have an experience of the potency of dōTERRA essential oils as  plant medicine and their therapeutic effects on the body, mind and emotions.

In this workshop I will be going through the 10 most widely used oils and a great starting point in your essential oils journey. You will have a full sensory experience of smelling these oils and applying to skin in an aromatic dressing.

I will go through each of the oils and the many uses they have, including how to live a more low tox life through making your own cleaning and body products and using them safely on your babies and children. I will talk about safe dilution and the different ways to take your general well being to another level.

I am passionate about self care and incorporate these oils into my daily practices. I will share my rituals and hope to plant some seeds where you can use essential oils for self care and as a first step in your healthcare, bringing back your intuitive healing power.

Many of the oils in this kit are food grade, so can be used externally and internally, for example adding lemon to your morning warm water or oregano to your spag bol!

I found dōTERRA oils whilst I was pregnant but could not find a class. One came along after I had my little girl, Juniper, and I was hooked! I bought the starter kit and I am growing my natural plant medicine cabinet slowly for myself and my family. I am so enthusiastic to introduce others to the oils and their healing potency.

dōTERRA, Latin for "Gift of the Earth" oils undergo extensive testing for purity to meet their own quality standards of “certified pure therapeutic grade” and are sourced from all over the world where the plants grow indigenously. They are such a pure, beautiful product to complement our health and well being.

I'm beyond passionate and excited to share these oils with you. If you are interested in living a low tox life and are going through a shift in your home to live a more natural life, or just want to be introduced to essential oils and how you can use them, then come join me. I can’t wait to share! There will also be an opportunity to buy the oils at the end of the class.

If you have any questions before the workshop or cannot make it but are interested, please contact me and we can organise a wellness consult to get you started!

I’m looking forward to meeting you all!

Introduction to Essential Oils // Green Cleaning // Wellbeing @ Farm Mews, Hove // 7.07.18

doterrabrighton

I invite you to join me at the creative, cosy work hub of Ardour Design in Farm Mews in Hove for a casual introduction and experience of the effective use of dōTERRA essential oils and their therapeutic effects on the body, mind and emotions.

We will be going through the 10 most widely used oils and a great starting point in your essential oils journey. You will have a full sensory experience of smelling these oils and applying to skin in an aromatic dressing. We will learn how they can help with headaches, energy, weight loss, skin problems, colds and so much more.

Since starting with doTERRA essential oils I have gotten rid of most the chemicals in my home. I am passionate about making my own products or only useing toxin free products. Organic does not mean toxic free, which blew me away. I love inspiring others to do the same and make their home look like an apothecary of amber glass bottles!

I will go through each of the oils and the many uses they have, including cleaning and body products and using them safely on your babies and children. I will talk about safe dilution and the different ways to help taking your general well being to another level. I am passionate about self care and incorporate these oils into my daily practices. DOTERRA Essential Oils Meet up || Blending || Sniff & Scratch

unnamed-3.jpg

Amy Ilic, Daniela Exley and Veronica Czajkowska would like to invite you to a doTERRA Essential Oils follow up class.

You may have joined doTERRA a year ago or yesterday. This is for you if you have doTERRA oils with one of us. We will be holdng an informal space where we can share our experiences with the oils and open up the floor to others that would like to share to. If the intertest is there we will do these events regularly so we can study the oils together.

Our aim is to inspire you to use your oils and feel their benefits. They have changed all three of our lives and that is why we do what we do.

We will all have our oils with us and there will be an opportunity for a scratch and sniff of oils that are new to you and an opportunity to make a roller or spray bottle or both! We can chat about green cleaning and beauty product tips. It will be super informal and a chamce to all meet and learn from each other.

Please bring your oils, fractionated coconut and if you have any rollers or spray bottles. We will have some to sell if people need them.

We very much look forward to playing together and getting inspired by these healing bottles of plant medicine.

Amy, Daniela and Vee

Note. If you are new to oils please reach out and we can get you onto an introduction workshop or a 1-2-1!

Introduction to Modern Weaving // The Proud Archivist // London

Ever fancied learning how to weave. Always wanted a wall hanging for your home or to give us a gift?

weaving

I will be hosting a workshop in the beautiful space provided by the Proud Archivist Gallery. With big glass windows looking out onto the canal and next door to Proud East, we couldn't think of a better space.

Have you been lusting after the gorgeous woven wall-hangings in your Instagram feed and are dying to try your hand at this beautiful craft? In this inspiring workshop, experienced weaver Amy Ilić will teach you how to make your own woven wall hanging using a table/lap loom made by Frome craftsman Hatchet & Bear!

You will learn how to set up your loom, make knots to start and end your weaving and use weaving tools. You will play with texture and colour through different techniques including Rya knots (tassels), twining, Soumak, and learn how to add a 3D sculptural element to your weaving. You will leave the class confident to set up and weave on your own and with your own gorgeous hand-woven wall hanging that you can put up in your home or give away as a generous handmade gift!

Nibbles and refreshments included.

All materials provided including looms which can be purchased after.

You will come home with your very own wall weaving measuring approx 25 cm x 30 cm.

‘I have been working hard to find a loom I would like to sell and teach on and have found my perfect collaboration partner! You will be weaving on the wonderful true craftsman EJ’s looms from Hatchet and Bear. He carves every loom and tool by hand with such beautiful detailing using seasonal wood using Elm, Walnut or Beech. I cannot express enough what a delight they are to weave on. You can feel his thoughtful design and craftsmanship while you weave!’

I has been weaving for 3 years now and has been selling wall hangings, home and fashion accessories. She weaves on various tapestry and lap looms and also floor and table cloth looms and is happy to talk about any of your queries about weaving and life!

Introduction to Essential Oils: Nature’s Medicine Cabinet

I invite you to join me in my home and have an experience of the magic of dōTERRA essential oils and their therapeutic effects on the body, mind and emotions.

In this workshop I will be going through the 10 most widely used oils and a great starting point in your essential oils journey. You will have a full sensory experience of smelling these oils and applying to skin in an aromatic dressing. There will also be bliss balls with Wild Orange essential oil to try!

I will go through each of the oils and the many uses they have, including cleaning and body products and using them safely on your babies and children. I will talk about safe dilution and the different ways to help taking your general wellbeing to another level. I am passionate about self care and incorporate these oils into my daily practices. I will share my rituals and hope to plant some seeds where you can use essential oils for self care.

Many of the oils in this kit are food grade, so can be used externally and internally, for example adding lemon to your morning warm water or oregano to your spag bol! So much more potent than dried herbs!

I found dōTERRA oils whilst I was pregnant but could not find a class. One came along after I had my little girl, Juniper, and I was hooked! I bought the starter kit and I am growing my natural plant medicine cabinet slowly for myself and my family.

dōTERRA, Latin for "Gift of the Earth" oils undergo extensive testing for purity to meet their own quality standards of “certified pure therapeutic grade” and are sourced from all over the world where the plants grow indigenously. They are such a pure, beautiful product to complement our health and wellbeing.

I'm beyond passionate and excited to share these oils with you. If you are interested in living a low tox life and are going through a shift in your home to live a more natural life, or just want to be introduced to essential oils and how you can use them, then come join me. I can’t wait to share!

If you have any questions before the workshop or cannot make it but are interested, please contact me and we can organise a wellness consult to get you started!

I’m looking forward to meeting you all!

Hello Weavers!

Come and spend a day making a woven wall hanging, hosted by interior stylist ROSWOW.

Weaving is a very addictive craft. The rhythm you can get into when weaving is a great way to unwind and process the day and thoughts. Woven wall hangings are also a big trend in the interiors world right now and an easy way to apply textured, tactile textiles onto your walls. Not only can they be elegant and bring character to an adult home, they are also a perfect decorative item for a baby or child’s room.

This one day weaving workshop is designed for both beginners and intermediates. It is aimed at those who have never woven before and want to give themselves a day to explore the art, whilst also for those who have either already attended a beginners workshop or have taught themselves and would like to brush up and advance their skills.

With the luxury of having a day, you will have time to learn how to dress an intermediate loom, learn beginner techniques of weaving, half hitch and Rya knots, twining and playing with texture. Please either bring a packed lunch or grab a bite to eat at the lovely Oak Street Cafe situated within the craft center which also gives us the time to get to know one another!

This workshop will give you the skills to understand weaving so you can design your own piece and weave it whilst at the same time having lots of fun with like minded people. You will go home with your hand-woven wall hanging ready to hang at home and make your walls Instagram worthy! If you fall in love with weaving then you also have the option of buying your loom at the end of the day, which comes with my beginners guide on how to set up and weave at home!
